Breakfast With Christ - Jesus Is The Reason

JESUS IS THE REASON SCRIPTURE: PSALM 124:2-3 “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, When men rose up against us,Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us"

It is just a day more to the end of this year. Many of us have had our difficult moments. We have lost loved ones and we have lost opportunities. But through all these, we are alive today and the reason is Jesus Christ.

The only reason we are still alive is Jesus. Jesus is the holder of our lives. He is the air we breath. Please make no mistake, you are not alive today because you have been a faithful Christian, you are not alive today because you have lived well. You are alive only because the Lord showed you mercy.

Just consider all the accidents that happened this year, the reason you haven't been part or you have survived is because God chose to show you Grace. It wasn't because your drivers have been careful. It is just by Grace.

You fell sick during the year, you have had painful moments, the reason you didn't die is because of God's Mercy. It was not because the drugs you took worked. It wasn't because your doctor was good. It is all by Grace. Jesus is the reason.

The year might not have gone the way you planned it. But once there is life, there is hope. So please let's quit complaining and give God all the due praise. The Lord Jesus Christ has been good to us. He has been merciful. He has been faithful. We are where we are today only because of Jesus Christ. Let's praise His name forever.
