Breakfast With Christ - Sin Has A Price

SIN HAS A PRICE SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Sin has a price and it is very deadly. Sin isn't a thing to be played with. Sin simply means falling below the standard of God. God has a standard and anytime we sin, we fall below this standard.

The penalty for our sins is death. Eternal death. Eternal separation from God. That is an unimaginable suffering. Anytime we sin, we are in danger of eternal condemnation. We must be aware that there is a heavy price to pay for our sins.

God is love indeed but He is also righteous and just. He cannot ignore sin in any form. Sin, no matter how small is an abomination to God. No matter how good we are, if we die in our sins, we will face the wrath of God.

THE GOOD NEWS The great news is that Jesus Christ has already paid the ultimate price for our sins. He endured excruciating pain and humiliation to pay for our sins. The Lord of Heaven gave up His Life for us. That was God's Mercy in motion.

However, If we refuse to accept God's Mercy and we continue in our sins, we will certainly pay the price. To escape God's wrath, we must fully repent from our sins and live for Jesus Christ. There is no other way out of sin than to surrender our lives to Jesus Christ.
