Breakfast With Christ - Pray For Others

PRAY FOR OTHERS SCRIPTURE: ACTS 12:5 "So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him"

Let's be honest, when was the last time you went before God just to pray for someone else? All the friends you claim you love, do you pray to God for them?

There are lots of people around us who are silently going through difficult moments. The fact that they haven't told you doesn't mean everything is fine with them. The least we can do is to pray for them. We need to learn to pray for others.

Around the same time that Herod killed James, He arrested Apostle Peter too and put him in prison. But the night before Peter was killed, the rest of the disciples organized prayers for him and God intervened. There is power in intercessory prayer.

Praying for others is an act of love. Life is not all about us. We need to pray for the people around us. If you truly love someone, you will pray for him/her. Prayer works. Let's not be self centered, let's intercede for others.

The more you pray for others, the more your own needs get taken care of by God. This morning, please spend some time to pray for your family members, your husband/wife, your children and all those around you. Your prayers will help them a lot.
