Breakfast With Christ - Amazing Grace

AMAZING GRACE SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed".

"Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found T'was blind but now I see"

What amazing Grace it is for the Lord of Heaven to die for us. He was despised, rejected, beaten and insulted yet He remained humble to death. He bore our sins, the sins of generations unborn. What an Amazing Grace.

Our afflictions were laid upon Him. We were condemned to eternal suffering in hell fire but Grace intervened. He paid a debt He did not owe. When sin accused us and demanded for our souls, Grace spoke for us. What an Amazing Grace.

That amazing Grace saved us from the prison of sin. We were locked in chains waiting to face God's wrath but Grace intervened. That Grace freed us from the consequences of our sins. Now, we live because of this Amazing Grace.

Shall we continue in sin because of this Amazing Grace? Certainly not. The more we continue in sin even after being saved, the more we make nonsense of this Amazing Grace. Grace is freedom from sin not freedom to sin.

The more we continue to sin, the more we hurt that Grace that sacrificed His life on the Cross for us. He was pierced and killed for our sake. Now, we need to reject and repent from our sins and live for Him.
