Breakfast With Christ - Remember The Cross

REMEMBER THE CROSS SCRIPTURE: JOHN 19:17 "They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha".

Several years ago, the Lord of Heaven was cruelly killed on the Cross of Calvary. It was a sacrificial death. Jesus died the death of criminals even though He was holy.

The cross of Jesus Christ represents our freedom from sin, it represents our redemption. The cross represents God's love, forgiveness and Selflessness. One thing we should never forget is the cross of Jesus.

Before we decide to comfortably live in sin, let's remember that it cost God the divine Blood of Jesus on the Cross to save us. It wasn't cheap. Jesus had to pay the ultimate price to get us out of our sins.

Sin leads to destruction and hell. Nothing good comes out of sin. We don't stop sinning simply because we want to, we gain victory over sin when we surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ.

When we are tempted to sin, let's remember the cross of Jesus. If you find yourself living in sin, please remember the cross of Jesus. If you find yourself far away from God, please go back to the Cross for restoration. Let's always remember the price Jesus had to pay on the cross to save us from our sins.
