TOPIC: THE SIN PROBLEM SCRIPTURE: JOHN 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"
THE PROBLEM Sin is the biggest problem of the human race. Every evil we see today was caused by sin. The world as it is today wasn't part of God's original plan for humanity. Sin entered into this world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God.
Sin is devastating. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. Sin has only one end, that is eternal destruction in Hell fire. Sin separates us from God. Sin is not a thing to be played with. It's consequence are disastrous.
GOD'S SOLUTION Even though humanity sinned, God still loved us so He sent His begotten Son to die for us. In death, Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins. Jesus Christ is the only solution to sin.
Only the Blood of Christ is capable of washing away our sins. Jesus died so that we could have eternal life. We no longer have to suffer the consequences of our sins if we believe in Christ.
THE PROMISE For every one who believes in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life. God has promised us eternal Life in Heaven if we believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. There is no other way to Heaven than through Jesus Christ. He is the Only way.
JUST BELIEVE IN JESUS Believing in Jesus Christ isn't merely about saying Jesus I believe in you. Believing in Jesus is about living for Him. Your whole life is Christ-centered. You cannot believe in Jesus and continue to live in sin. No. Holiness becomes your daily lifestyle.
IT IS A CHOICE. Each one of us whilst alive must either choose to believe in Jesus and be saved or reject the Son of God and be condemned. We must remember that life is short, sin leads to destruction. I urge you to surrender your live to Jesus Christ and live for Him.
