Breakfast With Christ - Living For Christ

In a world which has become so antagonistic to the things of God, it is very important we make a firm decision to live for Christ. Living for Jesus isn't automatic. It isn't just about going to church or even singing gospel songs.

IT STARTS FROM THE CROSS Living for Jesus starts from the cross. To live for Christ, we must surrender our lives to the Cross of Jesus. The cross represents our freedom from sin. The Cross reminds us of the greatest sacrifice in human history. We must go back to the Cross and surrender our lives to Jesus in total repentance.

IT IS A LIFESTYLE Living for Jesus isn't something we do on Sundays. No. It is a daily lifestyle choice. Every aspect of our lives must depict the nature of Jesus Christ. Among our friends, we must live for Jesus. At our work places, we must live for Jesus. It is a lifestyle.

THERE WILL CHALLENGES Living for Jesus is easier said than done. It is never easy to live for Christ in a world where sin is celebrated. You might lose some friends. It will seem like you are odd. There will be temptations to give up and sin. But stand firm. Don't give up. Always ask the Lord to help you live for Him.

THERE IS A REWARD God rewards faithfulness and obedience. The journey will be tough but the crown of glory awaits you if you don't give up on God. When you live for Christ, He will never forsake you. He will be with you till the end of time. Deciding to live for Christ is the best decision you can ever make. The time to live for Christ is NOW.
