BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST
TOPIC: ALLOW GOD TO TAKE CONTROL SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Welcome to BWC. What do you when you are physically tired and worn out? You take a rest right? But what do you do when you are emotionally and spiritually worn out? Today, Jesus throws an interesting invitation to us.
Too many times in our lives, we make the mistake of thinking we can control our lives. We do all the planning, all the arrangements but we usually fail to bring God into it. We only go back to God when our own plans fail. No. Jehovah is NOT a back up plan.
We need to hand over the control of our lives to God. To do this, we need to surrender to the Supreme Authority of God. We cannot live all by ourselves. The best way to live life is to allow God take control.
God is Sovereign. He is All powerful. He is All Knowing. He is the Alpha and Omega. He knows everything from the first to the last. No detail is lost to Him. He created us. There is no one more suitable to control our lives than Our Creator Himself.
When you allow God to take control of your life, you can be sure that He will lead you to your destination. The best decision you can ever make is to decide to surrender your life to God completely. God has to be at the center of everything you do.
Today, I urge you to accept Jesus Christ's offer and surrender to Him. True peace, joy and fulfillment can only be found in Jesus Christ. Allow Him to take control of your life and you will never regret it. Stay blessed.
