BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST

TOPIC: THE SCHEMES OF DARKNESS SCRIPTURE: 1 PETER 5:8 "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour".

Once you become a child of God, you become an automatic enemy of Satan. Collectively, as Christians, our chief enemy is Satan. Satan has vowed to do everything possible to separate humanity from Jehovah.

In trying to achieve his devilish agenda, Satan has three schemes of darkness he usually applies: 1. Deception 2. Fear 3. Doubt.

DECEPTION( John 8:44) Satan's chief scheme is deception. Satan is not only a liar, but he is the father of lies. He successfully used this tool in the Garden of Eden and he got Adam and Eve to sin. Satan never speaks any truth. We need to beware.

Satan has only one agenda, to make us disobey God and sin. He makes his lies sound like the truth. He is the Master of deception. Please never ever listen to his lies and sin against God.

FEAR( John 14:27) The second tool Satan uses so well against us is FEAR. Fear is of the devil. He always wants to keep us in constant fear. Any time you are living in fear, Satan is at work in you. God has commanded us not to fear.

But Satan knows that if he can get you to live in fear, he will achieve his evil agenda in your life. Fear makes us faithless. Fear makes us doubt God. Nothing good comes out of fear. God wants us to have faith in Him always. You have nothing to be scared of as a child of the Most High.

#DOUBT (Hebrews 11:6)

Another powerful tool the devil uses to get us to sin is doubt. We cannot walk with God in doubt. We must believe in God. Doubt produces fear in us. That's exactly what Satan wants.

Satan wants us to doubt our God. Once we doubt God, we cannot receive anything from God. Once you find yourself doubting the powers of God, satan is at work in you. Please resist the devil. Believe in God, there is nothing he cannot do.
