BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST

TOPIC: "I NEVER KNEW YOU" SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 7:21-23

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?"

"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Welcome to BWC. In concluding His sermon on the mountain, Jesus Christ gave us an idea of what to expect on the judgement day. Jesus' words were so clear.

Jesus is all knowing yet He said He will tell some people on the judgement day that He doesn't know them. It is clear Jesus was talking about relationship in this scripture. You may be going to church all these while, you may be working hard for God, but do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?

Does Jesus know you? God is pleased when we work for Him but He is more pleased when we live for Him. It is good to go to church, it is good to work for God, but do you have a personal relationship with the Saviour? Are you living for God with your life?

Jesus said only those who do the Will of God will get to Heaven(Matt 7:21). Are you doing the Will of God? The first Will of God is for us to be saved through Jesus Christ. Are you saved? God also wants us to obey His Word. Are you obeying the Word of God or you are doing your own things?

There are lot of people who have intellectual knowledge of Jesus Christ but have no relationship with Him. If you don't develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, He won't know you. Jesus knows every one in this world but on the Judgment day, He will only choose those who have a relationship with Him.

Please don't risk your eternal life. Hell is real and still hot. Do all you can not to end up in this unquenchable fire. You must have a relationship with Jesus Christ today. If you don't, He will tell you He doesn't know you when you die. If you are already a Christian, please live for Jesus Christ every day.
