The word of God is every word that comes from God. For us Christians, the word of God is contained in the Holy Bible. The word of God is the mirror of our lives. The word of God must be our daily bread.

How often do you spend time reading and meditating on God's word? Everything we need to know and understand about God is hidden in His word. Unfortunately, a lot of us hardly open our Bibles yet we complain that God doesn't speak to us.

As believers, our characters need to be built on the Word of God not humans opinions. In every situation we find ourselves, we need to know what God expects from us. We can't do this if we don't know His word.

To know God is to know His word. To obey God is to obey His word. God and His Word are inseparable. The word of God has the power to change our lives. If God's Word doesn't change you, nothing else can. We need to focus on the word of God.

To win the daily battle against sin, you need to be built by the word of God. We need to fill our hearts and our minds with the Word of God. That is the only way we can overcome temptations.

To please God, we need to abide by His holy Word. Our lifestyles need to be modeled after the word of God. Let's develop the habit of spending time studying God's Word. Let's also abide by what we read. God's Word is Supreme.
