Breakfast With Christ - Don't Doubt. Just Believe

BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST

TOPIC: DON'T DOUBT. JUST BELIEVE SCRIPTURE: MARK 5:27-28 "When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.”

Welcome to BWC. Our scripture for today is an excerpt from the story of a woman who had suffered from a blood sickness for twelve years but was healed by Jesus Christ.

Two things to note from this story: first, this woman was considered unclean in the Jewish custom because she had an issue with blood. She wasn't even supposed to be among people. Secondly, this woman had an absolute faith in Jesus to heal her. She had no doubt at all.

We cannot walk with God in doubt. Too many of us struggle to have absolute faith in God. We allow the circumstances we go through to create doubt and fear in us. We pray and we doubt if God will even answer us. We live in constant fear and doubts.

However, the Bible says the just shall live by faith not by sight(Romans 1:17). It is not about how you feel right now, it is not about what you see around you now, it is about believing that God is able to do what He has promised to do.

Doubt keep us from experiencing the miracles of God. Doubt is an enemy of faith. You can only receive from God when you absolutely believe and trust Him. God works with our faith and not our doubt.

This was what God told Jeremiah "I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me"?(Jeremiah 32:27). God is able to do far more greater things than you can ever imagine. Just believe. Don't doubt and you will experience the glory of God in your life.
