TOPIC: WHEN THE RIGHTEOUS CRY SCRIPTURE: PSALM 34:17 "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles".

Whom do you call upon when you are in a serious trouble? A lot of the time we rely on humans to help us out when we are in a difficult situation. Humans however can disappoint us. As children of God, we need to learn to call on God when we are in trouble.

1 Samuel 1 records the story of how Hannah cried out to the Lord. Hannah was married to elkanah. Hannah, unlike her rival was barren. This worried her a lot. One day, she went to the temple and cried out to God and God heard her and answered her.

The truth is, when the righteous pray, God pays attention. There is a lot of power in prayer. Unfortunately, many a time, we choose to complain and worry instead of calling on God in prayer.

Today, the word of God is telling us that when we cry out to the Lord, He will hear us and answer us. So what are you waiting for? No need to worry. No need to spend all your time complaining about your problems. Cry out to God today. You are a child of God.

If God answered Hannah's prayer, then God will answer your prayer too. He is the same God. He is the prayer answering God. Don't just pray once and give up. Be consistent in your prayer. God will answer you.

Whatever the issue is, cry out to the Lord today. Call on God. God will do for you what no man can do for you. God can turn around any situation in your life. Please stop complaining and pray. Stop worrying and call on God. He will answer you.
