TOPIC: BORN AGAIN III SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 6:4 "Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life".

Welcome to BWC. This is the third part of our series on "Born Again". Today, we look at the character of the born again Christian.

When we accept Christ and become children of God, our old nature of sin is immediately changed. The born again believer is a new person in Christ. As such, we must live as new creatures in Christ. Our attitude, behavior and lifestyle must reflect our new life in Christ.

When you get born again, your lifestyle must also change. You cannot continue in your old sins and still claim to be Born Again. No. That's a deception. You are a new creature in Christ, you must live as a Born again christian.

If you used to commit sexual sin before you got born again, you would have to put a permanent stop to that sin. You cannot live in Christ and still live in sin. You might fall to sin once in a while, but sin should no more be a daily habit you engage in. Please be quick to repent when you fall.

If you are a truly born again in Christ, you must take steps to live a godly and a holy life. You must cut off anything/anyone that pushes you to sin. Your life must be renewed. Your lifestyle must be Christ-like. You now belong to Jesus Christ.

So, are you truly born again? Have you changed or you are still living in your old sins? Is Jesus truly the Lord of your life? You cannot have a true encounter with Jesus Christ and still remain the same. If you are still living in sin, please you would need to repent today. You must be truly born again.
