TOPIC: YOU HAVE A CHOICE

SCRIPTURE: DEUTERONOMY 30:19

"This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live"

Welcome to BWC. Many a time, when we are faced with serious temptations, we feel we are powerless to overcome that temptation. One of the lies of Satan is to make us feel we don't have a choice but to sin.

God didn't create us as robots. We are not computerized objects which are controlled by someone. We are human beings with the Will power to choose. God created us with choices. God never forces us into doing anything.

God knows there is Hell and He doesn't want any of His children to go there so He gave us Jesus Christ. But even with our salvation, God doesn't force us to get Born again. It is by choice. You either accept it or reject it. But for every choice we make, God will judge us.

We always have a choice. Every day, we need to choose between God and sin, good and evil. When we are faced with temptations, no matter how attractive they may look, we have a choice to overcome them. Sometimes, our hands look tied up and we feel there is no other way out than to fall for the temptation, but God always make a way out for us. Falling for a temptation is a choice.

If you are a Christian, never feel you don't have a choice to stop sinning. Sinning is a choice. Everyday, we can choose God over sin. We can choose to obey God instead of disobeying Him. We can choose to live in Holiness. We can choose to abstain from fornication and other sexual sins.

Don't let anyone or Satan make you feel you don't have the choice to say No to any sinful situation. You have a choice. You have the power to live for Jesus. You have the choice to obey God's Word instead of obeying your flesh desires. Let's wake up every day and decide to live for God. Stay blessed!
