TOPIC: TRUST IN THE LORD

SCRIPTURE: PSALM 20:7

"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God."

Welcome to BWC. Trust is a very important element in our relationship with our maker. We cannot walk with God without having absolute trust in Him. The world has gotten to point where we simply can't survive if we don't trust in God.

A lot of people have what they trust in. Some trust in drugs, some trust in doctors to keep them alive, some trust in their parents to provide for them, some trust in their material possessions. But if you are a child of God, your total trust must be in the Lord, the God of all creation.

When your trust is in the Lord, your heart will be settled. It doesn't matter the wind of troubles that blow around you, it doesn't matter the storms that rise against you, it doesn't matter the arrows of sickness and death that are thrown at you, if you trust God totally, He will deliver you from all evil.

Your trust must be in the Lord. Many a time, we try hard to understand God when we should rather be trusting Him. It is always difficult to trust God when you are in a difficult situation and God seems silent.

But if you can hold on to your faith and trust in God, He will eventually come through for you. God doesn't fail.

Money cannot save you, your parents can't save you, doctors can only do their best but only God can save you. You need to put all your trust in God. God is too big to fail you. In this evil and wicked world, only God can keep you safe. Just trust Him. Never doubt Him, there is nothing God can't do. Trust God.

"Blessed is the man that trust in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD." Jeremiah 17:7
