TOPIC: LIVING IN THE WILL OF GOD

SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 7:21

""Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

In Matthew 7 v 21, Jesus explicitly told us how to get to Heaven. Heaven is for those who live in the Will of God. Every child of God must necessarily live in the Will of God.

To live in the Will of God is to obey the Word of God. To do the Will of God, you must first know His Will. The Will of God is revealed in the Bible. The reason some of us don't know the Will of God is because we hardly read the Word of God.

The question is: do you know the Will of God? Are you living according to the Will of God? God has a general Will which is revealed in the Scriptures. God also has specific Will and plan for our individual lives. You cannot walk with God if you don't know what His Will for your life is.

In general, God's Will is for us to forsake our sins and get saved through Jesus Christ. God's Will is for His children to walk in righteousness and holiness. God's Will is for us to show love to one another. God's Will is for us to obey His Word. Are you doing this?

Individually, God has Will for each of us. Do you know God's Will for your life? A wasted life is a life which is not lived according to the Will of God. You need to live in the Will of God.

When you are living in the Will of God, you don't have to worry about anything. God will always be with you. The forces of darkness cannot harm you if you are in the Will of God. The Will of God is the safest place to be.

Today, please pray and ask God to help you walk according to His divine Will.
