TOPIC: FAITH ON TRIAL

SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 24:13

"But he who endures to the end shall be saved".

What do you do when your faith in God is tested? What do you do when you have prayed about an issue for months yet you don't get any answer from God? What do you when you are struck with calamity? What do you do when life hits you hard but God seems silent?

The Christian life isn't just about singing hymns, attending church services or having a merry life in Christ. No. It is tougher than that. If you say you have faith in God, that faith will be tested. Your faith will be put on trial. You will feel like giving up.

Job's faith was tested when he lost everything including all his children. Abraham's faith was tested when he remained childless even after God promised him a child. All the disciples had their faith tested. If you are with God, your faith will be tested.

You will face persecutions, you will face sicknesses, you will face life threatening situations, but in all these, you must hold on to your faith. Jesus said in Matthew 24:13 "whoever endures to the end shall be saved". Don't give up on God when your faith is tested.

Be resilient. No matter how hard things get for you, even when God seems silent in your life, even at the point of death, refuse to give up on God. When you are sick but God isn't healing you, still keep your faith in Him. Have faith.

Heaven is for those who refuse to give up on God no matter the tribulations they face. When you hold on to your faith, God will come through for you. God doesn't fail anyone who trusted Him completely. Don't allow fear to make you give up on God. Hold on. God will save you.
