TOPIC: THE DARKEST HOURS

SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 27:45

"From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land".

Welcome to BWC. Just before Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary, darkness covered the surface of the land for 3 hours. This was very symbolic. The interesting thing is that those few hours of darkness ushered in the Salvation of humanity.

When the Roman soldiers nailed our Lord on the Cross, they thought they had won. Unknown to them, they were actually fulfilling God's grand plan of salvation. Not every pain or darkness you are going through is from the devil. God has a plan.

If you are going through some moments of darkness in your life now, please remember this; it is temporary. It won't last forever. For a believer, God has a purpose for allowing things to happen in our lives.

Your moment of darkness is ushering you into a glorious future with God. God has allowed you to go through those moments of darkness so that His glory could be revealed in your life. God has a reason for everything.

The best you can do is to surrender everything to God. Leave everything in God's hands. Trust Him. Don't let the temporary pains you are going through break your relationship with God. Jesus Christ went through pain and darkness on that Cross, but it was for a good reason.

Hold on to your faith in the Lord. Keep praying. The darkness you are going through now won't last forever. God knows and sees your pains. He will come through for you. Your victory is in the Lord.
