TOPIC: THE RESILIENCE OF JOB

SCRIPTURE: JOB 13:15

"Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him".

Welcome to BWC. You are likely not to find a man in the Bible whose faith was tested more than job. Job was a righteous and a blameless man. God had blessed him immensely. However, one day, he lost everything including his ten(10) children.

What will you do if you wake up one day to find out that you have lost everything including your family? Will you still trust God and worship Him or will you give up? Job's faith was tested beyond measure yet he stood for God. He refused to curse God for his misfortune.

In our lives as Christians, there will be several afflictions. Your faith in God will be tested, you will go through difficult moments just like Job. When you are faced with the storms of life, what will you do? It is very easy to say you trust God when everything seems fine with you.

Will your anchor hold when the troubles of life come crushing on your head? This world has enough troubles to keep you distracted if you don't focus your mind on Jesus Christ.

Job was resilient in the face of the difficulties he faced. His faith in God remained strong. Today, Let's learn from Job. Let's trust in God in the good times and in the bad times. When things get difficult for you, look up to God for strength.

The Lord is your helper. The helper who won't fail you. If you can put your trust in God and stay focused on Jesus Christ, you can overcome anything you face. Don't give up on God when things get hard for you. God is capable of delivering you from every situation. Trust Him.
