Four Reasons You Must Tell Everyone About Jesus
FOUR REASONS YOU MUST TELL OTHERS ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ remains the greatest gift God has ever given to humanity. The birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the three most important events in human history. In this article, I will give you four reasons you must tell others about Jesus Christ.
1. IT IS YOUR CHRISTIAN DUTY(MATTHEW 28:19)
Matthew 28:19 contains one of Jesus' last instructions to His followers which has come to be known as The Great Commission. Whilst on Earth, Jesus Christ preached about the kingdom of God. In His absence, He has entrusted this duty to us, His followers.
You owe Heaven the duty of telling others about Jesus Christ. It is a duty you cannot forfeit. It is a duty you must accomplish whilst on earth. If you are a Christian but you are not telling anyone about the Lord Jesus Christ, you are definitely failing in your duty.
2. IT IS A GOOD NEWS
The birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is termed as "The Gospel of Christ". "Gospel" means "good news". Jesus Christ is the Good News, the Greatest news actually. The good news is that Jesus Christ lived and died to save us from our sins. We are no longer hell bound. This is a wonderful news.
No one hears a good news and keeps it to himself/herself. Every good news has to be shared. So why haven't you been sharing the Gospel of Christ? Your friends, the whole world needs to hear this Great News. You must tell others about the Good News of Jesus Christ.
3. ONLY JESUS SAVES(ACTS 4:12)
Salvation is found in no one except Jesus Christ. There are so many ways to God, but only ONE true way; Jesus Christ. Only the Blood of Christ can make a sinner clean. Without Jesus Christ, no man shall enter into Heaven.
Your friends, your family and everyone else around you are in danger of missing out on Heaven if you don't tell them about Jesus Christ. Life is short, no one lives forever. We will all die. Heaven is real. Hell is real. It is important you tell others about Jesus Christ so that they could be saved from their sins and Hell fire.
4. JESUS GIVES HOPE(COLOSSIANS 1:27)
Jesus Christ is the Hope of the hopeless. In a world where a lot of people struggle to find hope, peace and joy, Jesus Christ is the only way out. This world needs Jesus Christ. This world needs hope. People need to know that God loves and cares about them.
A lot of people are burdened and have no one to talk to. They need to know that Jesus Christ is their friend. They need to know they can talk to Jesus Christ. All some people need to hear to be saved is "God loves you". It is your duty as a Christian to let people know about God's amazing love and Grace.
So there you have it. Four reasons you must tell others about Jesus Christ. I pray that from today, you will make a decision to begin to tell others about Jesus Christ. If you are already doing this, may God give you more Grace to continue. Don't give up. Your reward is great.
