TOPIC: CHRIST, OUR DWELLING PLACE

SCRIPTURE: ACTS 17:28

"For in him we live, and move, and have our being;"

Welcome to BWC. Every animal has a dwelling place, same for us humans. Our homes are our physical dwelling place. But for us Christians, spiritually, Christ is our dwelling place. In a world which is becoming increasingly unsafe, the safest place to live is in God.

IN HIM WE LIVE

Jesus Christ is our life. He isn't just our life giver, He is our Life itself. Without Him, we have no life. Our physical life is perishing. We won't live forever. The life Jesus gives us isn't physical life, it is Life that is beyond death. It is everlasting Life.

Life on earth is temporary. The only person who guarantees us life after death is Jesus Christ. If you don't have Jesus Christ, you will face eternal darkness when you die. Jesus is our Life, He is our Way, He is our truth.

IN HIM WE MOVE

Our movement and our progress is in Jesus Christ. We won't go far without Him. We can't do anything without Him. He gives us the Grace and the strength to continue living. He is our sufficiency and our deliverer. Jesus Christ is simply our everything. We are nothing without Him.

IN HIM WE HAVE OUR BEING

Our being is our very nature. Our nature comes from Jesus Christ. He is God. He was present at the very beginning and He is always present with us. He is our breath. We exist because He exists. We were created in His very nature. He controls our breath and our heartbeat.

Jesus Christ is our safest dwelling place. In the Psalms, David calls Him the Rock. He is our Rock that protects us and shields us from all evil attacks. He is the lamb of Heaven who was slain for our sins. He is the Lion of Judah who keeps us safe.

You don't need to be afraid if you have Jesus. Just live in Him. Abide in His Word. He shall keep you safe and direct your path. He is not a man, He doesn't fail. Live for Jesus and abide in Him, He is your safest dwelling place.
