TOPIC: THE MERCY SEAT

SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 11:28

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Welcome to BWC. Today, Jesus sits on His mercy seat inviting all of us to Himself. So many of us are carrying burdens which are too heavy for us. We are going through pains and struggles that we cannot bear any longer. Today, Jesus is asking you to drop that load at His feet.

For you who is broken and depressed, Jesus is calling you to His Mercy Seat today. There's no brokenness that the Lord cannot fix. It doesn't matter how broken your life may be, the Lord can put your life together again.

For you who is battling with a chronic illness, Jesus is calling you today. If Jesus could resurrect the dead then your sickness is well below His abilities. Only Jesus has the power to make you whole. You must run to the Mercy Seat today.

For you who is living in constant fear of the unknown. You are always scared of something bad happening. Fear is of the devil. You cannot live in fear when you have God. Jesus is calling you to His Mercy Seat today. He shall give you Grace to overcome your fears.

For you who is struggling with an addiction, you have tried hard to stop but you are not able to do away with that negative habit. Jesus is calling you today to drop that load at His feet. He shall break that yoke over your life.

No matter how deep your sins may be, no matter how dark your past is, Jesus can change your story. He is a merciful God, He will save you. Don't give up on yourself, run to Jesus Christ on His Mercy seat today.

"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" Hebrews 4:16
