BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST

TOPIC: DRAW CLOSE TO GOD SCRIPTURE: JAMES 4:7-8 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."

Our greatest desire must be to draw closer to God each day. Our Lord is the fountain of our lives. Building a personal relationship with Him must be our greatest priority.

Many a time, we spend a lot of time building our human relationships. Unfortunately, we tend to forget about God. Our relationship with God is the foundation of all other relationships. If we can't get it right with God, all other relationships will suffer.

Let's draw close to God. Let's renounce all our sins and make it a daily habit to draw closer to our Savior. Let's prioritize reading the Word of God each day. Let's spend time in prayer each day. We can't survive without God.

In God we find the strength for each day, in Him we find our salvation, in Him we find our healing. Our joy, peace, hope and love is in the Lord. When the storms rise against us, the Lord is our shelter. We need to draw closer to God. The more we draw closer to God the more we lose the desire to sin.
