BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST

TOPIC: THE GOSPEL OF LOVE

SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 5:8

"But God demonstrated his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Welcome to BWC. God's relationship with humanity has always been built on His immense love for us. Even when Adam and Even disobeyed Him, He still made clothes for them to wear. This love pulled Jesus Christ from Heaven to come and die for our sins.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Gospel of God's love for us. For God so loved us that He decided to sacrifice His son for the atonement of our sins. There is no greater love beyond this. Jesus died for us even when we didn't deserve it. Obviously, God doesn't want anyone to perish.

We need to respond to this amazing love by also loving God with all our hearts. We must love God because God first loved us. The Lord is more than worthy of our love. The Lord showed His love by dying for us, we need to show our love by living for Him.

We can no longer continue to take God's love for granted. We need to respond to it today by giving up on all carnal pleasure and living for Him. If we indeed love the Lord, we will repent from all our sins and live in holiness.

If we indeed love God, we will place His needs above our own. We must seek first the Kingdom of God and it's righteousness. God must be first in our lives and in our hearts. If we love God, serving Him must be our greatest desire.

Love gives. Let's give our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Let's give our attention and time to the work of God. We must go beyond just saying we love God, we must show that we indeed love Him. Let's continue to walk in the love of God.
