TOPIC: FAITH OVER FEARS

SCRIPTURE: PSALM 34:4

"I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears."

Welcome to BWC. Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm. There are lots of us Christians who harbour one fear or the other. We live in constant fear of the unknown.

It is either the fear of dying prematurely or the fear of not succeeding in life or the fear of being involved in an accident or the fear of something bad happening. We simply can't stop being scared. All the negative things happening around us have contributed to this fear.

The only permanent cure for fear is complete faith in God. Today, the Lord is asking you to choose faith over fear. Why are you still living in fear if the God of all creation is your Father? There is nothing you are going through or you will go through that God can't deliver you from.

The phrase "Fear Not" has appeared several times in the Bible. There is no need to fear if you have God. Your life is in the hands of God. If we continue to focus on the negativity around us, we will always be scared. Our focus must be on the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our deliverer.

Today, I want to urge you to replace all your fears with total faith in God. Let your focus be on God and not your problems. Whatever the issue is, believe God can deliver you. He doesn't fail.

If you are struggling with any fear in your life, call upon God and He shall deliver you from all your fears. Most of our fears are imaginary. Fear imprisons us and keep us from trusting in God. Focus on Jesus Christ and you won't have to be scared of anything.
