TOPIC: THE FAITHFUL SERVANT

SCRIPTURE: REVELATION 3:11

"I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown".

Welcome to BWC. God has called us to be faithful servants. Faithfulness is one attribute of a good follower of Christ. In Matthew 25, Jesus narrated a story of a master travelling and leaving his fortunes in the hands of his three servants. When the master came back to assess their faithfulness, two of his servants were found faithful. The unfaithful servant was cast out into darkness.

The question I would want all of us to ponder over today is this: "Will God find you to be a faithful servant should He call you to give account today?" In other words, "are you being a faithful servant of God?" It is very important that a true follower of Christ be faithful in serving Jesus Christ.

A faithful servant of Christ must live every day with the mindset that his master can return at any time at all. A faith servant of Christ cannot busy himself/herself with the things of this world and forget that he/she has a divine mission to achieve here.

A faithful servant of Christ must be divine-purpose driven. A faithful servant of Christ must separate himself/herself from worldliness or carnality. You simply cannot save the world for Christ if you are living just like the world. Jesus is coming back for spotless saints not believers who just go to church but live like the world.

Are you a faithful servant of Christ? If you are a follower of Christ, please always remember that your Master, the Lord Jesus Christ will come back soon. Hold on fast to your high calling in Christ. Don't contaminate yourself with the vanity in this world. Be set apart and live for Jesus Christ.

Focus on doing the work Christ gave you and be faithful in your worship. Remember that one day, you will give account of your work to God. Be a faithful servant. Stay blessed.
