SCRIPTURE: JOHN 8:36
"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
Welcome to BWC. Every human being likes to be free. An adolescent growing up craves for freedom from his/her parent's control. Every human being enjoys freedom. God also wants us to be free from the bondage of sin so He sent Jesus Christ to die for us.
Jesus Christ sacrificed His comfort to come and die a shameful death on the cross to free us from the slavery of sin. When Adam and Eve sinned, sin became the slave master of humanity. The good news is that Jesus Christ has broken that stronghold of sin. You can be free from sin.
Today, God wants you to know you can be free from the bondage of sin. You no longer need to be a slave of sin. A slave only does what the master wants. You can be free the controlling force of sin. Sin enslaves us and destroys. Sin is a slow killer. Sin is worse than a poison. But you can be free from all these if you will accept Christ today.
A lot of us are struggling to overcome sin on our own. The truth is you cannot overcome sin on your own. Only the Blood of Jesus can free you from sin. You need to give your life to Christ. When you accept Christ, He makes you free from sin and gives you the Grace to live for Him.
What are you struggling with today? Is it a strong addiction to alcohol? Are you strongly addicted to sex, masturbation, pornography? You can bee free today. God doesn't want you to be a slave to any thing. God wants you to be free. Just genuinely surrender to Jesus Christ and He shall make you free.
If you are already born again and you are still struggling with a sin in your life, please know that you have power over that sin. Jesus has giving you the power to say NO to sin. You have the power to overcome all temptations. You don't have to fulfill the desires of your flesh. You can be holy.
You can be free from sin today. Just run to Jesus and He shall make you free. Stay blessed.
