TOPIC: IS JESUS YOUR FRIEND?

SCRIPTURE: JOHN 15:13

"Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends".

Welcome to BWC. We all need friends. Friends we can relate to closely. But there is no better friend than Jesus Christ. Jesus is our friend.

"What a Friend we have in Jesus,

All our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit,

O what needless pain we bear,

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer!"

What a friend we have in Jesus indeed. He is the friend like no other. He is the friend who is closer to us than our skin. He loves us even more than we love ourselves. He is the friend who will never betray us. He never fails.

If you need a friend who will never fail you, get to Jesus. If you are feeling lonely, dejected and frustrated, get to Jesus. If you are burdened with sin and life's issues, get to Jesus. No one cares for you more than Jesus, no one loves you more than Jesus.

You don't have to carry the burdens of this life all by yourself, lay them at Jesus' feet. Let your joy be in the Lord. Don't trust in material possessions, trust in Jesus. Jesus is that friend you can always talk to. He is never too busy not to listen to you. Dry all your silent tears, let all your worries and fears go. Jesus cares about you.

If you don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ, you need to do that today. Just accept Jesus Christ and make Him your friend today. He is ever willing to be your friend. He will clothe you with His love and peace. You need to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and your life will never be the same again. Stay blessed.
