TOPIC: YOU ARE NOT ALONE

SCRIPTURE: 2 Kings 6:16

"Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

Welcome to BWC. The whole story of how Elisha defeated the Aramean's army is recorded in 2 Kings 6:8-24. Kindly read it.

Once upon a time, the King of Aram was at war against Israel. However, any time the King planned to attack Israel, Prophet Elisha will go and warn the king of Israel. This enraged the King of Aram so he sent a whole army to go and kill Prophet Elisha. But God was with Elisha.

The Aramean army surrounded the city in which Elisha was staying. Elisha's servant saw this and got scared. What he didn't know was that they were not alone. God was with them. Elisha prayed and God opened the servant's eyes to see the chariots of fire with angels protecting Elisha.

God's message to you today is simple: you are not alone. God is indeed with you. Perhaps you may be facing a lot of spiritual, physical and emotional battles and you are thinking you are all alone in your struggles. But God is saying He is with you. You don't have to worry. You don't have to be scared.

What you can see is the struggles you are going through but what you can't see is that there is a host of Angelic forces that are fighting for you. You may feel you are alone but those with you are far more than those who are against you. You are not alone. God is with you.

All that God requires from you is that you have faith and be obedient to His word. Elisha was a righteous man so God was with him. You can overcome every evil if you walk in holiness. God will always protect his children but when you live in disobedience and sin, you hand over power to the devil over you.

Today, let your faith in God replace every fear in your life. No matter what the circumstances may be, God always makes a way out of it. You are definitely not alone in your struggles. Don't give up. Don't be discouraged. God is with you. You shall surely overcome. Have faith.
