TOPIC: JEHOVAH SHAMMAH

SCRIPTURE: EZEKIEL 48:35b

“And the name of the city from that time on will be: THE LORD IS THERE.”

Welcome to BWC. Have you ever been at that point where you felt God isn't with you anymore? When life hits us hard, it is so easy for us to forget that God is with us. But God is always present with us.

"JEHOVAH SHAMMAH" is a symbolic name Prophet Ezekiel gave to the new Jerusalem God showed him in a revelation. "Jehovah Shammah" simply means God is present or God is there.

So, God's message to us today is simple, God wants us to know that He is always present with us. God doesn't take a vacation nor go on holidays. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. God is always present with us.

If you are a Child of God, God is present with you in good times and He is also present with you in bad times. God doesn't leave you when troubles come your way. In spite of what the devil would want you to believe, God doesn't abandon you when you are going through fire.

If you are going through any difficult moment now, let this promise from God in Isaiah 43:2 comfort you: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you".

You don't need to worry, you don't need to be discouraged in your moments of difficulty. God is with you to deliver you. You might not feel His presence, but He is with you. Have faith, Jehovah Shammah will see you through all your challenges. God will never forsake you. Just trust Him.

Lord, I am grateful you are always with you. Your presence is indeed Heaven to me. Amen.
