BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST
TOPIC: WE BELONG TO GOD
SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 14:8
"If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord".
Welcome to BWC. It is always a joy to know that we belong to God. What is there to worry about if the Almighty God is your Father? In all situations, we belong to God. In life, we belong to God, in death, we also belong to God. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God.
In times of trouble, you belong to God. God is even closest to us when we are going through a difficult moment. When the wind is against you, that's when God stands strong for you. When you are physically weak and tired, you still belong to God. He will never abandon you.
Why worry when you have God? What is there to worry about? There is nothing above God. God is the beginning and the end. He sees everything, He knows everything and He will deliver you from everything. All that is required is for you to be patient and trust in Him.
If we indeed belong to the Lord, then we need to live our lives for Him. We need to be committed to Him, we need to be faithful to Him. We need to be obedient to Him. We need to live to please Him. If we do all these, then we can boldly say we belong to Him.
If you are living for God, you don't need to be scared of anything. What are your fears? Bury all your fears today and have faith in God. Let nothing discourage you, let nothing scare you, God will deliver you from all things. All He wants is for you to live for Him. The question is:"are you living for God?"

Lord, I am glad I belong to you. Please give me the strength to live for you. Amen.
