BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST

TOPIC: THE LAST TRUMPET

SCRIPTURE: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:51-52

"Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."

Welcome to BWC. Everything that has a beginning also has an end. Our lives are no exceptions. The reason God has no end is because He has no beginning. He is the beginning and the end Himself. But our lives on earth definitely has a short end.

Today, I want us to remind ourselves of something we should never lose sight of. In everything we do, we need to always bear in mind that one day, each one of us will appear before the judgement seat of God and give account of our lives. This is something none of us can dodge.

Are you saved by the Blood of Christ? Have you surrendered your life to Jesus? Are you living for Jesus Christ? Do you have the fear of God in you? Are you certain of your salvation?

One day, when you stand before the judgement seat of God, will God find you to be a faithful servant? Please look through your life carefully, how are you living your life? Is Jesus Christ the center of your life? How much time do you give to the things of God? Are you too busy to even pray? When was the last time you had a personal time with God alone?

Now look at the friends you keep. Are your friends leading you to God or away from God?

Is your boyfriend or girlfriend pushing you into sin or he/she encourages you to live for God? Do you really believe God is pleased with the kind of relationships you are in? Is your heart focused on money or on God?

Let us not take our relationships for granted, we don't need to compromise with the intention of repenting later. Any relationship that pushes you to sin is ungodly and you need to break away from it now. It is better to be alone and live for Jesus than to be in a sinful relationship.

Friend, your salvation is all that matters. Never allow anything or anyone to take you away from God. Don't focus too much on material things. They will all pass away. Don't sell your body because of money. Pleasing God has to be the Focus. You need to live for Jesus and be faithful no matter how hard it will get.

If you haven't given your life to Jesus, this is the right time to do so. Don't postpone it further. If you are a Christian but you haven't been serious with God, please get serious with Him now. Recommit your life to Jesus and live for Him.
