TOPIC: HUMAN WILL VRS GOD'S WILL

SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 7:21

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter."

Welcome to BWC. As human beings, we were created with a Will. We are free to decide on what to do at any moment in time. We weren't created to be like robots, we have a free will. However, many a time, our human Will is always in conflict with the Will of God. What we what to do and what God requires of us do not always match.

In the beginning, our human Will was aligned to the Will of God until sin corrupted us. Now, we face the constant battle of having to choose between our Will and the Will of God. Our corrupted flesh will always want to sin and disobey God. That is is the Will of the flesh. As Christians, we cannot do what our flesh Wills.

In our scripture today, Jesus Christ made a categorical statement, he said those who will go to heaven are those who do the Will of God. The question we all need to be answering is, "are you doing the Will of God? ". What God wants from us can be found in His Word. Are we abiding by His Word?

God's Will is supreme. In our daily lives, we must always choose the Will of God above our own human desires. We cannot do what we feel like doing, we only need to do what God wants us to do. It is not always easy obeying the Will of God but obeying the Will of God is the only thing that will get us to God.

God's Will is for you to be saved.

God's Will is for you to live a holy life for Him.

God's Will is for you to be faithful to Him.

God's Will is for you to avoid fornication.

God's Will is for you to avoid any semblance of sin.

God's Will is for you to love everybody and be kind of people.

God's Will is for you to preach His word.

ARE YOU DOING THE WILL OF GOD?
