TOPIC: MAKE THAT CALL
SCRIPTURE: JEREMIAH 33:3
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."
Welcome to BWC. How will you feel if you know that the solution to all your problems is just one call away? You only need to make that one call and you will receive help. How will you feel if you know that the person you are calling has all the powers to help you?
Today, God throws an invitation to us in the book of Jeremiah. A special invitation. God wants us to call on Him. In Jeremiah 32:27, God reminded Jeremiah of His greatness, “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?". Though Jeremiah 33:3 and Jeremiah 32:27 are verses apart, Jeremiah 32:27 forms the bases for God's invitation for us to call on Him.
Do you believe there is nothing too hard for God? Do you believe God is omnipotent(All Powerful)? Do you believe God can do the impossible for you? So why haven't you called upon Him yet? He has promised to answer you, so why are you still worried? The greatness of God means that God cannot fail.
You are not calling on a human being for help, you are not calling on your pastor for help, you are calling on the Almighty God for help and He promised to answer you. So what are you still waiting for, just make that call.
About 700 years later in the book of John 14:14, Jesus made a similar promise to us, "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it". Isn't this amazing, Jesus said just ask me for anything in my name and I will do it for you. If you are still not encouraged to make that call, let Jesus' promise encourage you to call on God for help.
Are you overly burdened? Please make that call. Are you sick and weak? Please make that call. Are you worried and living in fear? Please make that call to God. What do you need? God says He will answer you, just call on Him. Don't hesitate, your help is one call away. God never fails. Just ask anything according to His Will and He will answer you. All our help cometh from the Lord. Stay blessed!
