BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST

TOPIC: YOU ARE NOT ALONE

SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 28:20b

"And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Welcome to BWC. Have you ever felt so lonely before? Have you ever felt you needed someone to talk to but there wasn't anyone there? Have you ever felt God had abandoned you when you were in some mess? Well, today, Jesus is saying you are never alone, He is with you always. ALWAYS.

A story is told of a man who was on a journey with with Jesus Christ. Through out the journey, the man was seeing four footsteps, two belonging to him and two belonging to Jesus. Everything was fine at that point. At a stage, when the journey got very difficult, the man saw only two footsteps.

The man got sad and worried because he felt Jesus had abandoned him when things got difficult. So he cried out "Lord why have you abandoned me when I need you the most", then Jesus replied him and said "I am with you, the two footsteps you see are mine not yours. When the journey got difficult for you, I carried you behind my back. I am the one making this journey for you". Instantly, the man dried his tears and received strength to continue the journey.

Child of God, God's message for you today is simple, you are not alone in your journey of life. God is a Spirit, don't expect to see Him physically walking with you. But He is with you. It is a journey of faith.

Even though, sometimes it might look like God is absent, you need to believe that He is with you. He promised to be with you and He won't break His promise. For us Christians, seeing is not believing, believing is seeing. Jesus is always with you, just call on Him. Stay blessed.
