THE UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLE
In a world full of subjectivity, it is quiet difficult to find one principle that encompasses all that we do. Yet, there are universal principles that work in every sphere of our lives. One of such principles is the Principle of Sowing and Reaping. Simply put, you reap what you sow. There are no two ways about this.
Whether in the business world, in religion, in academics and in our relationships,we reap what we sow. When you throw a ball into the air, the law of gravity makes sure the ball comes back to you. A farmer won't sow tomatoes seeds and reap garden eggs. If you sow hardwork, you will reap success, if you don't prepare for an exam, you will fail no matter how hard you pray. If you live your life anyhow, your life will end anyhow.
Relationships work on this same principle. Whatever you sow into the life of your partner, that's what you will reap. Simple, if you want the best from your partner, give your partner the best. If you want people to care for you, just care for them. If you want to be loved, sow love into the lives of others. If you want your partner to be faithful to you, be faithful to your partner(of course some people will still cheat on you anyway).
The Holy Bible affirms this principle in the book of Galatians 6:7 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." This is quite straightforward. Even in our Christian lives, we reap what we sow. If we sow anger, we will reap the fruits of anger. If we live in sin, we will reap the bitter fruits of sin. If we sow prayers, we will live in victory. We cannot deceive God, He knows the contents of our hearts. If you want to best from God, give God your best.
Since we reap what we sow, why don't we sow good things? Let's sow kindness, love and forgiveness in the lives of others. Just as God rewards goodness, he also punishes wrong doing. We can deceive humans but not God, whatever we are doing on this earth, we will surely reap the fruits one day. So, let us live well. Let us love all, forgive all and live at peace with everyone.
