PEACE IN THE STORM
When you have money, you can buy basically anything at all money can buy but no amount of money can buy you PEACE. Today, world leaders meet every time to discuss world peace. If money could buy peace, they would have done that long time ago. True peace only comes from Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.
In our personal lives, we go through very troubling times. Those times when nothing seems to be working for us. It could be a serious financial break down, an illness we are battling with or a failed love relationship. We all go through difficult situations even as Christians.
The truth is, being a Christian doesn't guarantee you immunity against problems. Just like the unbelievers, we all face problems in this world. The difference however is that we have Jesus Christ who is our Peace in the times of trouble. When you have Jesus, you can smile in the storm.
We face problems because this world is not a perfect place. The only place where we will be free from problems is Heaven. But God is merciful, He is always with us even in the midst of our troubles. God never abandons us. Sometimes, it might look like He is gone but He is ever closer to us. The presence of life's troubles doesn't mean God is absent.
What are you going through today? I want to encourage you to keep trusting in God. When life gets harder, pray harder. Jesus never promised it will be easy but He promised He will never leave nor forsake you. There is a season for everything, your season of crying won't last forever. God will give you peace. No matter what, don't give up, you have Jesus, you shall overcome. God bless you.
