TOPIC: WHO IS JESUS CHRIST? (PART 3)

SCRIPTURE: 1TIMOTHY 1: 1

"Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope."

Today, we continue our journey into knowing who Jesus Christ is.

JESUS IS OUR HOPE

In today's scripture, Paul described Jesus as our hope. Every human being lives on hope. The only thing that keeps some people going is the hope of a better tomorrow. Some people place their hopes on their parents, others on their wealth.

But for us Christians, our only hope is our Lord Jesus Christ. When Jesus died, our sins were forgiven but when He resurrected, He gave us Hope. Hope that when we also die, we will be resurrected to eternal life in Heaven. If Jesus hadn't resurrected, our faith wouldn't have any basis.

Jesus being our Hope isn't only about spending eternity in Heaven, but also about living a fulfilled life in this world. In a world full of darkness and uncertainties, Jesus remains our only Hope of survival. With Jesus, we have the assurance that no matter how difficult things might be now, God will surely see us through.

Jesus Christ is not our biggest Hope, He is our ONLY HOPE. If your hope is in something else, that thing will fail you one day. Today, I urge you to put all your hope in Jesus Christ, He will never fail you. His love for us is endless. Stay blessed!

Lord, thank you for giving me Hope through your Son Jesus Christ. Please help me to place all my hope in Him.
