Be Filled With The Holy Spirit
First all, Bible said be not drunk with wine because you have it in excess but be filled with the Spirit.
Now, a drunkard is influenced by an alcohol.
Ephesians 5:18-20
Don't drink too much wine. That cheapens your life. Drink the Spirit of God, huge draughts of him. Sing hymns instead of drinking songs! Sing songs from your heart to Christ. Sing praises over everything, any excuse for a song to God the Father in the name of our Master, Jesus Christ.
But the man filled with the Holy Spirit is influenced by the Holy Spirit.
Do you recall in the book of acts where even the shadow of Apostle Peter was healing the sick, the reason is the person of the Holy Spirit was effecting the sick people who were in the surrounding areas of the Apostle?
Act 5:12-16
Through the work of the apostles, many God-signs were set up among the people, many wonderful things done. They all met regularly and in remarkable harmony on the Temple porch named after Solomon. But even though people admired them a lot, outsiders were wary about joining them. On the other hand, those who put their trust in the Master were added right and left, men and women both. They even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on stretchers and bedrolls, hoping they would be touched by Peter's shadow when he walked by. They came from the villages surrounding Jerusalem, throngs of them, bringing the sick and bedeviled. And they all were healed.
Also, have recall that the bible says the anointing of the Holy Spirit in Apostle Paul affected even his apron and handkerchief when he was using to the extent that they place on people who were possessed by demons and the demons checked out and the same handkerchief and apron was placed on the sick folks and they were totally healed.
Why?
The reason is that, the power of the Holy Spirit was transferred into those materials.
The same way when you put an ice chilled water in a glass jar and both the outside and the inside of the glass jar become wet with water, so it is with the Holy Spirit.
When the Holy Spirit dwells in you. He transfers power (dunamis) to everything around you.
He even restrains the presence of Satan and every demonic activity.
If the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies. (Romans 8: 11)
You have the unlimited power of Christ in you.
If the Holy Spirit can't be defeated, then you are a Victor. Everything you touch shall prosper in Jesus name!
