My Meditation - Asking According To God's Will
The expectations of our heart can only be granted when we take a step of faith. It is not enough to have faith because faith only answers to questions posed to it.
That is to say we must be certain of what we are desiring of God though He knows what is best for us. If our request goes in line with His perfect will for our lives it's a plus to us.
However if it doesn't then it means we deserve something better. The woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34) had an expectation and that was what edged her on to go through the people to meet Jesus.
