TOPIC: CHRIST REBORN INTO OUR HEARTS
SCRIPTURE: LUKE 2:11
"And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."
The Biblical account of the birth of Jesus is a compelling one. It defied logic. It is difficult to believe how a human being could be born into this world by a virgin. But it did happen and that's what makes God great; He does the impossible.
The birth of Christ is a very popular story that has been retold countless times over the past years.
Once again, we are in the season of Christmas. A season where we celebrate the birth of our Saviour into this world.
This season usually comes with merry making; eating, drinking and sharing of gifts. These days, the merry making seems to overshadow the main essence of the season, which is the BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOR.
As we eat and party this Christmas, let us remember that Christmas is about Christ. Christmas is about the birth of our saviour. Long time ago, He was born into a manger, anytime we celebrate Christmas, we need to renew our commitment to our Saviour. Christ has to be reborn into our hearts.
Jesus was born to save us from sin, there will be no need to celebrate His birth if we don't accept Him into our lives.
If you are already a Christian, check your life and if you need to, please renew your commitment to our Lord. If you are not yet a Christian, this is the perfect time for you to accept Christ into your life. God bless you!
