TOPIC: THE GOD OF NEW BEGINNING
SCRIPTURE : ISAIAH 43:18-19a
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing"
It is so easy for us to dwell on our past achievements, mistakes and sins. The human mind doesn't easily forget things. We all once in a while remind ourselves of some of the things we have done in the past that we are not proud of. Today, God is saying forget the things of old. It is time for a new beginning.
Some of us too remind ourselves of the days when we were on fire for God. The days when we used to do God's work with so much passion and desire. Today, God is saying forget the former things. It is time for a new beginning.
The past is gone. Whatever you achieved or didn't achieve in the past is gone, please forget about it because God is a God of new beginnings.
Don't dwell on your past mistakes and Sins, God has kept you alive not for you to continue focusing on the past but for you to do something new with your life. Whatever you did wrong in the past, repent from it because God is about to do something new with your life.
Don't let Satan deceive you, your life is not over, no amount of past mistakes can erase God's love for you.
Today, God wants you to know that He has a plan for you, He is beginning something new in your life. But first, forget the old things and then trust God to do a new thing in your life. You are blessed and heavenly favoured.
