BREAKFAST WITH CHRIST
TOPIC: THE AUDACITY OF FAITH
SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 11:8
" By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going".
What is faith? According to the Bible in Hebrews 11:1 "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". Faith is believing in what you can't see nor feel. Faith is believing in the impossible.
In our scripture for today, the Patriarch Abraham acted on his faith in God by taking the risk of leaving his father's home to an unknown land. That is the audacity of faith; the ability to take risk based on your faith in God.
Faith isn't easy to possess, but the Bible says in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith it is impossible to please God.
Our walk with God is a walk of faith. We cannot receive anything from God without faith. Faith is believing that God has healed you even if you still feel the pains. Faith is taking the first step with God even if you don't know where He is taking you to.
Faith is to believe that with God, nothing is impossible. Faith is to believe that even at the eleventh hour, God will show up.
Throughout the Bible no man had ever walked with God without the audacity of faith. Every healing Jesus performed in the Gospels were through the faith of the receiver. The only thing about man that pleases God is faith.
Can you believe even if all hopes seem lost? How strong is your faith in God? Can you still believe even if it seems your prayers ain't being answered?
Today, I want to encourage you to keep up your faith in God, it doesn't matter what humans say, God has the final say over your life. Keep believing,God won't fail you. God bless you.
PRAYER LINE.
Lord, please help me to believe in you even if it becomes very difficult to do so. Amen
